- Unfortunately we have no idea when this model was built, or who built it.
- It is very well built, and certainly built to run and pull.
- The detail is quite good, including excellent in cab detail.
- Stainless Steel (milled?) C&O lettering on main unit (as was the prototype).
- Exceptional detail along the trucks.
- All trucks are sprung with individual springs!
- The paint is not perfect, but looks fine overall considering the likely age of the model (Please view the photos carefully)
- The model lead tests well on its side but does not move on the track.
- No working lights
- No original box (likely never had one)
NOTE: The "Chesapeake and Ohio" side badge is partially detached on the engineer's side and loose on the fireman's side. The rear tender truck has a detached side-frame. The ladders on both cab doors have issues. One of the front grilles is pushed in at the bottom.
