Erie Triplex 2-8-8-8-2 Steam Locomotive

Custom Series #15 Factory Painted Erie #5014. Matt H. Shay.
Great model. Hard to find. In particular this Russian Iron Blue Boiler looks great.
This model only has 2 can motors; it came from the factory with 3; some modifications have obviously been made. We had to remove quite a bit of DCC wiring, etc., that was inside but not of any use.
IT DOES NOT RUN - Definite project; the two motors work well; however, it is difficult to get the model to make contact; when we did get it to make contact, it shorted out. Unable to diagnose all the issues. This is a PROJECT.
This model features a coasting drive, these seems to be a modified added feature.
The model has full in-cab detail and excellent overall detail.
The model has an operating headlight installed
No Extra parts
Original box included, a bit rough and no original foam.
NOTE: The model has a sound system of some sort installed, and there were some modifications made to the tender for this.
The model is weathered, there are flaws in the paint and the model shows signs of fairly heavy use.
There is a coal load installed, but part of it has come loose (see photos)
