HO NBL GN O-1 Class, 2-8-2 (circa 1950) w/ P-2 Tender

PROJECT HISTORY - The Great Northern owned 145 O-1 Class 2-8-2's built in several groups between 1911 and 1919. Photos confirm they roamed system wide on the GN from Minnesota to California. The last 4 were not stricken from the roster until 1958. During their many years of service, the O-1s underwent innumerable individual modifications rendering each locomotive unique. In keeping with The North Bank Line's policy, we are planning 4 versions of these work horse GN freight haulers each representing a specific locomotive in a specific time period. All will be produced by Boo-Rim Precision and Factory Painted.

HO NBL GN O-1 Class, 2-8-2 (circa 1950) #3137 w/P-2 Tender

Number 3137 will be equipped with a Delta trailing truck and P-2 tender as seen in the photo at Vancouver, WA. She will also have number boards, a boiler tube pilot and sport cab. This girl was a real boomer known to have worked from the Cascade to the Mesabi Divisions and probably most areas in between.
