HO NBL GN O-1 Class, 2-8-2 Special Edition w/auxiliary tender

PROJECT HISTORY - The Great Northern owned 145 O-1 Class 2-8-2's built in several groups between 1911 and 1919. Photos confirm they roamed system wide on the GN from Minnesota to California. The last 4 were not stricken from the roster until 1958. During their many years of service, the O-1s underwent innumerable individual modifications rendering each locomotive unique. In keeping with The North Bank Line's policy, we are planning 4 versions of these work horse GN freight haulers each representing a specific locomotive in a specific time period. All will be produced by Boo-Rim Precision and Factory Painted.


SPECIFIC MODEL INFO -

HO NBL GN O-1 Class, 2-8-2 (circa 1950) #3101 SPECIAL EDITION w/Auxiliary Tender

Number 3101 will be produced as seen in the photo at Lookout, CA with a footboard pilot, number boards and sport cab. Photos show #3101 also equipped with a boiler tube pilot circa 1950, and this interchangeable part will be included. Also included in this "Special Edition" will be the auxiliary water tender commonly seen in photos of #3101 during this time.
