HO PFM - United 1979 Michigan II 2-Truck Shay. Model has an open frame motor. The model runs well.

This model came from the personal collection of Don Drew, owner of Pacific Fast Mail. It includes a Certificate of Authenticity.

According to Don Drew, this model was based on the Ludington Lumber Company #233, which operated near Ludington, Louisiana. Originally it was going to be named the Louisiana Shay, but since it was so similar to the Michigan I, PFM opted to call this the Michigan II shay.
