HO PFM SKI Illinois Central #8004 2-8-4 FP PILOT

HO Pacific Fast Mail, built in 8000 Series 2-8-4. The model has a can motor and full backhead detail. It does not have operating lights. It is factory painted, road #8004. The decals are visible but are well done, by SKI. The model runs fairly well.

This model was from the personal collection of Don Drew, owner of PFM. So a great model and a nice piece of history!

The model includes a Certificate of Authenticity stating it was from the PFM collection. It also has etched number plates on the loco & tender with a PFM number.

This was the PILOT model.  It includes some prototype photos, drawings, and other information used in producing the model.  The model has some paint chips in a few places, it appears the pilot may have had some work/repair done at one time.  Interesting model!
