HO PFM - United. Frisco 2-10-0 Sound Special. Here is a great collectors items. From the PFM collection, is one of the 'Sound Special' Models. These models were painted in Japan by Tenshodo, and sent to dealers to demonstrate PFM sound to their customers. They were sent free of charge, but ownership was retained by PFM. Dealers were required to send the models back to PFM when they were no longer using them. Naturally many models 'disappeared'. They show up once in a while, but often in poor shape. Furthermore each of these models comes with a Certificate of Authenticity that it was from the PFM collection. It also includes letters that were originally sent to the dealers. This particular model has sound installed. It has signs of wear & use. It runs, but poorly. We are unable to test the PFM sound, however if that is important to you to use with a PFM sound system we can ensure that it is working properly upon request. The model has operating lights which are working fine. The Box shows some wear.
