HO PFM NP W-1 2-8-2 Northern Pacific PILOT

HO PFM - SKI, Northern Pacific W 2-8-2. Sample Model. The model is unique as it includes a non-production 14E convertible Tender. The model also has a Full Wood Pilot which the production run did not. Also it has a larger cutout on the rear of the frame then the production version had. The model comes with a pretty amazing packet of information about the production of the model. MANY drawings, letters etc. It is interesting that the two individuals working on this project were Bill McKown (W&R) & Bob Hundman (Mainline Modeler, etc.) Lots of correspondence in here from those two guys, and from SKI as well. It gives a very interesting behind the scenes look at what goes into producing a model . The model has a can motor and in-cab detail. It runs well. The model includes a COA stating it is from the PFM collection, and that it is a one of a kind sample model.
